Aston Martin AM 310 Vanquish officially release
The new Vanquish – known internally as the project AM310 – replaces the DBS in Aston Martin range, even though it uses the Vanquish name. Underneath the new-look body, which is part DBS, part One-77, The Vanquish is pretty much identical to the current DBS, and is powered by the same V12 engine as well.
This V12 powerplant – which by the way has a working class background, as it’s two Mondeo V6s welded together – in the new Vanquish makes 573 PS at 6,750 rpm, 620 Nm of torque at 5,500 rpm, which is enough to take the car from 0 to 60 mph in 4.2 seconds, and onto to a top speed of 186 mph.
To be launched later this year, the new Vanquish will have a base price of 189,995. Stay tuned for more official details and pictures.
