Up to 450 HP

German aftermarket specialist Tuningwerk has released a performance package for the BMW M135i.

The BMW M135i is no slouch in standard configuration with its 320 HP (235 kW) six-cylinder 3.0-liter engine but Tuningwerk decided there’s room for improvement and bumped output to 450 HP (331 kW). This was possible by modifying the turbocharger, installing an extra watercooler and a bigger intercooler. Other changes on the list worth mentioning include a custom exhaust, ECU remap and a 4.5 kg lighter flywheel. They didn’t reveal any performance figures but we remind you the stock M135i needs 4.9 seconds until 62 mph (100 km/h) and has an electronically-capped top speed of 155 mph (250 km/h).

Aside from the considerable 130 HP (96 kW) power boost, the BMW M135i can get a KW Clubsport suspension and a limited slip differential. There’s also a performance braking system with in-house racing brake pads and steel flex pipes as well as new 18-inch wheels shod in Dunlop Direzza semi-slicks, while the interior receives Recaro seats and an optional roll cage for added safety.
